Outdoor Resource Program

Through the Seven Tepees Outdoor Resource Program, young people not only learn new skills, they become more connected to their larger communities. They see the world of opportunities available to them beyond the Western Addition, Mission District, or Bay Area.

Year-round activities include: a two-week summer wilderness camp experience; education about the National Park System followed by a yearly camping trip to a national park; participation in two outdoor expeditions per year; and ongoing education on environmental stewardship values with several opportunities to practice the skills they learn.
