Outdoor Resource Program
Through outdoor environmental stewardship and recreational activities,
this program provides young people with new skills and opportunities
beyond their immediate neighborhoods,
strengthening their connection to their larger communities.
The year-round program includes
a two week summer wilderness camp experience;
education about the National Park System
followed by a yearly camping trip to a national park;
participation in two outdoor expeditions per year;
and ongoing education on environmental stewardship values
with several opportunities to practice the skills learned.
