    Be a Seven Tepees Mentor

Make a difference in a young person’s life! Become a Seven Tepees mentor. As a mentor, you’ll gain the satisfaction of helping a youth succeed, and you’ll be a role model to a youth who might otherwise never have long-term one-on-one support from a caring adult.

Mentors and youth participate in a wide range of activities together: community service projects, sports events, and activities that explore different cultures. Also, you’ll have fun being together, playing together, and making your own expeditions.

The Seven Tepees Mentoring Commitment

  • Have a concern for youth and a desire to learn more.
  • Attend an orientation.
  • Complete an application.
  • Complete an interview.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Attend mentor training.
  • Commit to one year for 2-4 hours per week.
  • Participate in on-going training.
  • Participate in group activities with other Seven Tepees mentors and youth.
